The Workshop will be hosted at Bistro 14 Coffee Shop in Kleinmond by Gerhard Steenkamp.

With more than 25 years experience as full time professional photographer Gerhard will guide you through the basics of editing your images in Camera Raw, Lightroom and Photoshop.

What you will learn during the workshop.

  1. Workflow from downloading your images till the final savings process.
  2. How to remove chromatic aberrations.
  3. Determine the white and black point.
  4. Use of the basic sliders (White Balance, Exposure, Contrast, Whites Blacks etc.)
  5. Dodge and Burn.
  6. Using the healing tool to remove spots.
  7. Radial and Linear gradient filters.
  8. Apply sharpening and soft focus.
  9. Apply borders to images.
  10. Collages and Montages.
  11. How to apply a watermark or signature to an image.
  12. Resize of images.

Saturday 7 October 2023:

8:00 ; Get together at Bistro Coffee Shop in Harbour rd. Kleinmond.

From 8:00 to 8:30 we will enjoy coffee and rusks provided by Bistro 14 Coffee Shop.

8:30 – 10:30; Post Processing tutorial.

10:30 – 11:00; Coffee break with BLT sandwiches provided by Bistro14 Coffee Shop.

11:00 – 13:00; Post Processing tutorial.

Equipment;

  • Laptop or Computer with Photoshop and or Lightroom installed.
  • Memory Card downloader.

What is included in the workshop:

What is not included in the workshop:

  • Personal phone calls (Wi Fi Internet connection available at Bistro 14 Coffee Shop)
  • Drinks.
  • Gratitude fee for waiters.

  • Transport to and from Kleinmond and around Kleinmond during the practical sessions.
